Don Johnson, AKA "The Vice" is fun loving, crazy and most of all the Powerful drumming rhythm and drive of the band. He's the Rock Solid, driving force behind the Band's High-Energy playing style. No microphones needed in a small room unless he's behind plexi-glass. (This guy really pounds em). Don sometimes sings back-up harmonies, and provides most of the solo fills (screams and yells). However, since he has that Mike Love "Slightly-out-of-tune" quality, he's lead vocalist on the Beach Boys' tunes; providing that extra measure of authenticity.
His favorite drummer has always been Jakson "Thunderfoot" Spires ( Blackfoot).
